As fellow caregivers, we share a journey that's filled with challenges, uncertainties, and deep love for our children. Life has its twists and turns, and when our kids face significant disabilities, our paths can become even more intricate. I've walked a similar road, and I want you to know that you're not alone.

Recently, I’ve been struggling with some of my son’s behaviors. I know all behaviors have a source, but I’ll be d****d if I know what is causing his. Although he can use words to communicate, I’ll often hear him talking to himself in my basement, he refuses to tell either me or his staff what is going on. Instead, he will lash out. There have been several instances in the last few months where he’s attacked me and his staff. To date, he hasn’t touched his staff. I haven’t been so fortunate.
